My mom has been...prodding me to draw a picture of Gabby. He's her cat. I've been refusing because I absolutely hate doing fur. It takes forever and my fur doesn't even look right in the end. Anyway here is our kitty, Gabby. I am never going to draw Peaches. Her and her long multi-colored fuzzy buns can go to hell.
Program: Photoshop Elements 8.0
Tools: Wactom Tablet (create) & Pen
Time: 4-5 hours

Hey, you know... even if you don't really like doing fur that much, this still looks very convincing as a well-drawn picture of your mother's cat.
You've actually done quite well. He looks like a very gorgeous kitty cat, and the wonderful green eyes you've drawn and cute little nose really add to the beauty of the piece.
And from what I gather it looks like he's relaxing underneath a pile of blankets, which look well-designed and very pretty.
Your mother would be proud I reckon, if she hasn't seen this already. An extraordinary work that, even if you don't like doing it, is a true showcase of your skills.
